Have a nice Eddie Bauer canvas jacket but it smells like an old camping tent…musty yuck smell that sticks to everything.
I have washed it four times, used Fabreeze, sprayed with new car scent, soaked in White Vinegar for 24 hours then washed and no difference.
Do I just shoot it and put it out of its misery?

I don’t want to sell my original painting, but I want to get prints, but can I get them printed onto canvas? Is there a website where I can do that?

I had two pairs of shoes in a bag together and some purple dye from one shoe rubbed off onto the grey canvas shoe so the stains are right on the surface. Anyone have any suggestions?

I want to make wallhangings and I want the sheets of plastic canvas to look like one piece instead of several. And I don’t want the pieces to be able to fold up.

Can someone please tell me if I should do something to the canvas before I start painting on it, or if I do something afterwards to help preserve the painting more? Spray it with something or whatever?

I have to enter a canvas for a charity event and i don’t want to paint on it (that will just mess it up) so can just use a 4B pencil, sketch something on it and then fixitive it? Does that count as a finished product? Should I do anything beforehand/afterwards to make it more finished?

I’ve bought some canvas from Michael’s, but I have a feeling they’re not good quality. I don’t like the grain of the canvas, and the wood doesn’t look like it’s good quality. It’s really light and easy to snap. How can I tell what canvas brand to buy and how can I tell that it’s good? Does it matter whether you buy a good canvas to paint on or not? I paint with oils.

The artist is a very good friend of ours from college. The logo is a tree with a violinist and a pianist playing underneath it. The canvas will be maybe 4′ tall and 10′ wide. We’ll provide the canvas, she’ll use her own painting supplies. Painting isn’t currently her full-time gig, she does campus Christian ministry. I don’t think she normally does art for money at all, if ever, but her bachelor’s degree is in art and I like her work. How much should I offer her? Thanks.

I thought of taping off the circle and cutting it out with an exact-o knife, but I don’t know if that will cut the canvas. Any ideas?
PS. I want to fill in the circle, not just paint a line.
Thanks
Thank you all for the suggestions so far. I don’t know if the circle needs to be "perfect", I just want to paint a moon over my dark blue sky (about 18 inches in diameter) without ruining my painting. I’m a fairly new artist as far as acrylics go.

Im using acrylics and I started making my own stretched canvas. I did research and its all different and confusing. I need an artists opinion of what to do. Full directions would be helpful too.

Basically- I will be doing all my paintings with oil paint AND the paintings will be done on canvas paper. Since oil paint takes forever to dry, I need to make something for this, or buy something.
I have 2 pieces of foam core board that I tried to use to make something but I have no idea what to do.
Keep in mind, this is canvas paper–not stretched canvas, or canvas board.
And another question—With liquin- Can I put that over my painting so that it dries more quickly — it’s oil paint, so I’m not sure.
Help please!
