Today I went out to buy some running Shoes for the Gym where I go run every Morning. And to my surprise all well known Brands were way to much, or over priced and looked like they just came off a Astronaut. WTF !

So I went out and finally found some Reeboks for 40 that are also a running Shoe that don’t shine or glitter or have rubber looking spring deals on the bottom. Come on man…. I’m not joining the Olypics here. Just a casual Runner.

I’m all for the common Shoe Brands. But man give us casual Guys a choice that we can be happy with.

so how bout you? You like these Space age Plastic deals hitting the Floor. Or do you prefer just some casual Rubber and Leather.
Oh yeah and BTW I’m also 33. So at my Age I’m not to fond of the Toy like Shoes these Days.

And believe me I was all about Nike back in the Day. But then i wised up and realized. It is a Shoe of the same caliber as others your just paying for the name or stupid swoosh symbol.

i want to buy an ed hardy shirt and sneaker and i just want to know how to tell if its real or a rip off. thanks for the help, much appreciated

Here I am with a very old pair of friends – my 30 or so year old worn, vintage, canvas Adidas tennis shoes. I got them way back in high school and wore them practically everyday for a time. I remember how I loved rainy/slushy days and how soaked they would get on the way to school. Then I would sit in the classroom wiggling my toes in my untied moist shoes and socks. If gym class was early in the day, I got to run around in them listening to that wonderful wet sneaker squishing sound. Then I would slip them off and wiggle my toes in the mandatory post gym shower. In this series of videos, I try to recapture those wet sneaker, squishing, wiggling high school days. Enjoy!

How do I frame a painting so that it looks presentable enough to put in a painting exhibit? It is on stretched canvas, about 18×22". The show is in 2 days, so I need something that’s pretty simple and quick (and not too expensive!)

Do art stores carry ready-made frames for stretched canvas, or will I be stuck making one myself?

Original Theatrical Trailer for the 1992 film “Sneakers.” Starring Robert Redford, Dan Aykroyd, Ben Kingsley, Sidney Poitier, David Strathaim, River Phoenix, & Mary McDonnell. Directed by Phil Alden Robinson.

2001 Sebring, the rear canvas portion is coming undone from the glass and I need to fix before I ship it overseas.

I am planning on buying a complete board from SkateWarehouse.com. I have about 0. So anything expensive is acceptable. I just want the best quality everything. And you may call me a poser but I’m just starting back skating again because my Darkstar snapped doing a Tre. :[

Years ago there was site called Kicksology that rated basketball sneakers. It would even give suggestions as to what position the sneaker was better for (guards needed lighter shoes vs centers who needed more ankle support). A site like this makes it easier to order sneakers online and avoid having expensive returns. Thanks!

I painted a piece of canvas and embellished it with a photo and some decorative paper. I want to add a transparency with a copy of the photo onto the canvas but am having trouble coming up with a way to mount it. I would like to have the transparency be raised up off of the canvas and the rest of the work. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How can I make prints of a canvas painting I made? I have small ones but I also have very large ones, they probably would not work correct? Or prints of anything in general? Also how do I take good pictures of my paintings to put inside a portfolio so that the wall is not showing or so that there is no glare?

Sorry about my English.

I have a pair of basketball shoes and they are cut open on the front right toe area. I tried sending them in to a shoe repair shop, but they said they can’t repair them because of what they are made of. Does anyone know of any "gym shoe" repair shops where I can send these shoes in?

I want to experiment with making simple sneakers in the spirit of the classic American sneaker (Converse or Keds) since it’s near impossible to find something similar in style that’s both simple, cheap, and made in America. Where can I find relatively small amounts (not industrial amounts) of rubber that I can use to make soles?

I have a canvas oil painting and want to stretch and mount it on a simple wooden frame. It seems like it should be easy, right? I have a staple gun too. Any recommendations? Guidelines?

advanced at skateboarding and looking for good shoes and good deckss.

I have a pair of white American eagle canvas shoes, and I need to wash them, but what is the best way in a washing machine? Should I use a pillow case?

Thanks.
